In 2018 Ray and I decided to purchase Polly Shoe Store in MIller, SD. We are both retired educators and realized early on that advertising and promoting our business would really help us get launched in a big way.  We used our local newspaper and of course Facebook to share new products with our community.  But within a few months, I realized I needed to get on board with Travel Backroads with Joan Sacrison whom I had met previously through work.  Her prices were reasonable and what I didn't know at the time was how my investment would pay back many times over the next few months!  Joan arrived soon after we purchased our membership with Travel Backroads and while I knew she would someday be videoing our store, I didn't realize it would be so soon - - was my unruly hair behaving itself? - - did my outfit flatter me - - and where was my lipstick - - I need lipstick quick!  We recorded right then and there and Joan was so professional and encouraging as we made the video describing our store, its history, and all the products we offer.  Our loyal local customers loved our video and also our new local customers came in because they hadn't been in the store in years!    Those sales more than paid for our membership!  Ray and I will continue to use Joan's services as we see a deep correlation between Travel Backroads and our business bottom line.  Thank you Joan!
