Wessington Springs, SD
Six miles west of SD Highways 281 and 34 and nestled in the Wessington Hills is the quaint little community of Wessington Springs. The Anne Hathaway Cottage, residents share a love and appreciation for the arts, music and their heritage. Shakespeare Garden hosts live music in the summer months when the gardens are full of blossoms. Free concerts happen on Thursday so bring your own chair.

The cottage is a partial replica of Stratford-on-Avon and was built in 1932 by a retired Professor and his wife.
With history, opportunities for business growth, excellent school, local shopping; visitors will be thrilled with the rich beauty, landscaping, and history that abounds here. The Wessington Springs Foothills rodeo is usually held every Memorial Day weekend, the annual Foothills Classic Car & Tractor Show held every August or the street dance where two blocks of Main Street are closed off for visitors to dance, drink and celebrate Independence Day. Visitors looking for less scheduled recreation can hit the links at the Springs Country Club and Golf Course or throw a few frames at Starlight Bowling (open regularly September through May, but available for event booking throughout the summer.)

Gregory: "The City of Expanding Horizons"
South Central South Dakota at the junction of US Hwy 18, Gregory is located in the heart of pheasant country at the junction of US Hwy 18 & 47 in South Central South Dakota. It is famous for its Gorilla school mascot and it's rich and deeply rooted hunting traditions. Francis Case Lake is a very scenic area on the Missouri River that is merely a 30 minute drive away. Anglers and boaters are attracted to the area.
The views especially from the Gregory Buttes Observation deck are remarkable and a must visit. The parks, gardens, playgrounds, gazebo and picnic shelters add a country touch and friendly ingredient to those driving through or coming for a visit. An added plus are the recreation opportunities from the city pool, tennis, basketball, walking, hiking to an amazing baseball diamond. Don't forget to bring your golf clubs to the beautiful 9 hole Gregory Golf Club. The area and people invite others to experience Gregory/Dallas and let its magic lure you to experience this beautiful place to live, no matter what season it is. They were also awarded in 2015 as the SD Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED) Community of the Year.
